It's huge and well-managed. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Lovely food served at buffet breakfast won't disappoint you. The hotel is conscious about the environment. They even take part in a 'light off' activity once a month. It might cause inconvenience to others but I like it. I also enjoyed my time on Bon Island. It's a really really relaxing place.
The staff were just 'ok' friendly when compared to other hotels in Phuket. The restaurants were way too expensive but there're plenty other choices just a few minute drive down Rawai Beach so it's not a big problem.

The place is so relaxing, the grounds are beautiful, the food is really good (they place an emphasis on using where they can good healthy food options that they have often grown in their own gardens). The infinity pool is a place where you could relax away many hours and a trip to Bon Island is definitely worthwhile.
As I mentioned, if you're looking for a place close to all the action then this is probably not the place to be staying at as it's about a 25-30 minute taxi ride from Patong Beach. However, it does have other charms that far outweigh the remote location.

The Hotel is everything you want to be if you have lot of money and you want to be away from everything and everyone. The food was amazing. Breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen in the hotels. The private island is great what they have and also the 3 pools. Happy hours at the Infinity pool were great.
We didnt like that it was too far away from everything. Sometimes u got a feeling like u are in prison cause there is really nothing to do in the evening time. However the food was lovely it was way overpriced for the portion size. Even the bottle of water in the hotel was 90 bahts which is too much and in the shop the same bottle is 8 bahts. It was also the one hotel where they didnt do anything for your birthday. Every other hotel left the card and cake but there was nothing.

Beautiful location, reasonable dining options and impressive grounds. The three different types of swimming pools were great. We spent most of our time at the family pool and the kids loved the slide. The kids club was also pretty good although they seemed to be pretty relaxed in their approach to conducting the activities advertised for the particular day.
The resort feels old. The room was disappointingly small and cramped. For the price we paid, we expected so much more. We have stayed at far nicer resorts for less than half the price. It's difficult to work out how Evason can justify its room rates. The resort is also really spaced out. Carrying two kids up and down stairs was great in terms of burning calories but didn't exactly tick the relaxation box.

We liked the beach at Bon Island the best.
I thought that the design was a bit outdated and that the rooms could need a little renewal of curtains and interior decoration.
